To get the best performance out of your Cherokee, you need to replace the stock Piper rounded wingtip that comes on "Hershey Bar" wings with an improved wing tip. Although any improved wing tip is better, we like and use the hoerner style wing tip by Met-Co-Aire. This wing tip will lower your stall speed, improve your climb, handling and cruise speed. We are dealers for Met-Co-Aire.

We REQUIRE you install some type of modified tip in order to use our Vortex Generator Kit. We do this for two reasons, 1. the VG's greatly improve the air flow over the inboard section of the wing, therefore the air flow at the wing tip should be improved. 2. We consider a wing tip improvement a "must-do" mod on the Hershey bar wing. The FAA has made us list each improved wing tip that is approved for use with the VG's on the STC. Check with us to make sure the tip you have or the one you are planning on using is on the list.
